IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR BIDDERS OF THE ADMINISTRATION BUILDING CONCRETE REPLACEMENT:

  • The complete bid documents with specifications necessary to complete a bid submissions are available on a USB drive at the Middletown Area School District Administration Building, 55 West Water Street, Middletown, PA 17057. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the building has terminated its regular operating hours. To make arrangements to obtain the bid documents, please contact David Franklin, Chief Financial Officer, by telephone at 717-948-3300, extension 1015 and leave a voice message with your name and return phone number.
  • The mandatory pre-bid meeting scheduled for Monday, March 30, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. WILL still be held; however it will be held exclusively outside of the Administration Building at 55 West Water Street, Middletown, PA with all prospective bidders in attendance encouraged to practice social distancing.
  • The Middletown Area School District continues to receive U.S. mail and packages from shippers on a daily basis; however, the distribution of the mail between building locations may be delayed. Prospective bidders are encouraged to notify David Franklin at dfranklin@raiderweb.org with information on how bids were sent to the District in advance of the bid opening date on April 3, 2020. The Administration Building at 55 West Water Street, Middletown will also be open for 30 minutes prior to the bid opening at 1:00 p.m. for bidders to hand deliver their bid package.
  • Bid opening will continue as scheduled on Friday, April 3, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Anyone in attendance is encouraged to practice social distancing.
