Middletown Area Recreation Alliance

MASD is excited to announce the relaunch of Middletown Area Recreation Alliance (MARA) under the direction of Nate Diegel, Recreation Programs Manager.

Nate is a graduate of Temple University with a degree in Sports and Recreation Management, and has also earned a Masters in Business Administration from Slippery Rock University. Nate is excited to develop a self-sustaining recreation program for all age groups in the Middletown surrounding areas. Nate has had several years of experience at Greater Elizabethtown Area Recreation & Community Services (GEARS) where he began volunteering as a teenager and worked his way up to Program Coordinator. Nate enjoys connecting with kids and their families and loves the reward of watching children progress in their skill development. He desires to provide a thriving program that positively impacts the community and provides events for all ages.

MARA is on track to launch programs in the Fall of 2021 but your help is needed to provide for your family's needs! Please consider completing this brief survey to enable MARA to provide for the needs and wishes of our community. The survey is also a way for interested instructors to connect with Nate about potential program offerings.
