Annual Culture Night Brings Together School Community
MASD’s English Language Learner (ELL) Department hosted their annual Culture Night to celebrate the various cultures represented in our student and community population. Close to 100 students and families attended the event wearing native garb and enjoying native nation foods 
brought by the guests.
Of course, pizza was available for those who have fallen in love with American food culture.
Approximately 21 countries of origin are represented in MASD and the District is proud to be the home of students from diverse heritages. We believe this is one way to equip all students to be productive, global citizens and develop responsible students who understand the world around them, value other perspectives and cultures, and communicate and collaborate within and outside of our community.
