Coach Acri

When Scott Acri heard that Middletown was looking for a Varsity Head Football Coach, he was intrigued. Having spent the last seven years as Athletic and Facilities Manager and Head Football Coach at Susquenita High School, and having previous football experience at West Chester University and Millersville University, Acri has high school football in his pocket and college football on his resume. Now he is ready to bring that experience to Raider Country.

Outside of football, Acri enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting, hiking, disc golf, and taking adventures with his wife Janelle and his American Bulldog, Murphy. The Acris can also be found hanging out at the lake or beach, attending sporting events, and following Penn State Football and the Boston Red Sox.

“My goal for the Blue Raider Football program is to create champions in life,” Coach Acri says. “Champions are individuals who expect to win in all that they do: on the field, in the classroom, in the community. Champions celebrate success. They do not become complacent, but they desire to work harder to accomplish whatever Task is in front of them. They never make excuses- even during defeats. They use them as opportunities! Champions focus on what they GET to do, not what they HAVE to do. We will strive to create and maintain a champion mindset and culture here at Middletown.”
