On November 30, 2022, the staff from the Administration Building and District PBIS Coaches from Reid, Kunkel, and Fink attended the PBIS Implementer’s Forum Celebration Event at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center. The Celebration event was to recognize all 3 buildings for implementing Tier 1 Universal Supports with Fidelity. This was a 2-year process that involved multiple buildings and district team members to implement Tier 1 supports. The building core teams will be recognized at the School Board Meeting on December 20, 2022 and each building will have a banner ceremony to “raise the banner” for implementing Tier 1 supports with fidelity. PBIS is currently being implemented throughout the District in grades K-8 and we will be adding grades 9-12 in the 2023-2024 school year.
Congratulations to all three MASD elementary schools! We hope to sustain our fidelity in Tier 1 and look to gain fidelity in Tier 2 supports in the coming years!
