Job Information Applications are being accepted for a full time, 260 day Child Care Coordinator position available immediately. The position will be responsible for the development, planning and implementation of the before & after school and summer camp program. The Child Care Coordinator is also responsible for the day-to-day operation which includes (but not limited to) staff supervision, administration activities, cultivating relationships and fiscal management. The goal of this position is to create a program that positively impacts the community while reflecting the mission and core values of MASD and the Middletown Area Recreation Alliance (MARA)

Candidates most possess one of the following: 
  1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and at least 1 year of experience working with children.
  2. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, in any field, with at least 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and at least 2 years of experience working with children.
  3. Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and at least 3 years of experience working with children.
  4. Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university, in any field, with at least 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and at least 4 years of experience working with children.
