Job Information Applications are being accepted for a full-time, 10 month (200 days, 8hr/day) position available immediately.  This position will provide clerical support to the Middle School Guidance Office and Middle School Principal in a manner that is professional, diplomatic, and complies with confidentiality requirements.  Duties include but are not limited to performing clerical duties such as answering phones; opening, sorting, and distributing mail; greeting and directing visitors; typing correspondences, letters, memos, and agendas; filing, faxing, copying, etc.; maintaining written and verbal communication with staff, students, parents, and community, answering any questions and/or concerns; collecting and recording student attendance information; maintaining confidential student attendance records, tracking absences and collecting excuse slips for tardiness or absenteeism and processing letters to be sent to parents/guardians as necessary; maintaining the collection of child accounting information for the building, including student demographic information, student enrollment, and student attendance/membership and preparing reports to verify accuracy of the information; and performing other duties as assigned by the building administration.

Applicants should have three (3) years experience as a secretary, preferably in public education and possess and Associates degree in office administration or equivalent additional experience in an office environment with high school diploma or equivalent required.
