Cassandra Pribanich, MAHS physics teacher, was selected by her peers as the 2019 MASD Teacher of the Year. Ms. Pribanich joined Raider Nation in 2009 and began her teaching career as a physics and math teacher. Pribanich earned her masters in Educational Development and Strategies from Wilkes University in 2015. It was no surprise to MAHS students that Ms. Pribanich was chosen for this honor. She is often selected by Students of the Month as their teacher of influence. Some of her former students shared about their experiences in her classroom:

“Ms. Pribanich was always fun to be around. I had her for a 7th period class, and by that time of the day I was pretty drained, but her positive attitude and sarcasm managed to keep me engaged! She always kept class interesting by always having hands-on labs ready to go, as well as by forming fun and relaxed relationships with the students. It made it so much easier to ask for help, which I did quite a few times. Ms. Pribanich always knows what needs to be done and is always getting down to business.” - Nicole Altland

“When I had Mrs. Pribanich she was an enjoyable teacher and she always made the classroom fun even if what we were working on was a little stressful. She was always willing to let us come to her classroom to work on assignments and receive her help which I greatly appreciated. Ms. Pribanich made a stressful class a little less stressful by always trying to help us have fun.” - Cassie Ebersole
