Students signing letter of intent
Congratulations to Peyton Attivo, Zach Burkholder, Jose Sanchez, and Sara Yeich, who all recently signed their Letter of Intent to play collegiate sports. The athletes were joined by family, friends, teammates, and coaches at ceremony where they revealed their decision on where they intend to continue their academic and athletic careers.
Peyton Attivo will attend Gwyneed Mercy University to play basketball, and Zach Burkholder will also play basketball, but at Bethany College. Jose Sanchez will attend Kings College to play football, and Sara Yeich will be at Hood College to play soccer.
The spring ceremony was the third of its kind held this school year at MAHS. In February, eight student-athletes signed their letters of intent, including:
Mason Blazer, St. Petersburg College, Basketball
Max Dupes, Juniata College, Baseball
Madeline Fox, Mary Washington University, Volleyball
Micah Krajsa, East Stroudsburg University, Soccer
Melanie Langford, Lycoming College, Field Hockey
Tyson Leach, Washington & Jefferson College, Baseball
Charles Lawrence, Central Penn College, Baseball
Ryan Thear, Lebanon Valley College, Baseball
In November, Blue Raider volleyball player Lily Bannister signed a commitment to play volleyball at the D1 level at North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University.
Best of luck to all our student-athletes as they take it to the next level!
