The Rothrock Foundation hosted their 4th Annual Bill Darrah Memorial Golf Tournament on Sunday, June 25, 2023. Bill Darrah was an avid photographer who supported Blue Raider athletics. Darrah was often spotted on the sidelines of fields, tracks and courts as he captured the action of Raider sporting events. Darrah would volunteer his time and share his photos, free of charge, with athletes, families and the yearbook committee.
The golf tournament, which was held at Sunset Golf Course, raised $11,000 for the Middletown Area High School Arts & Communications Department. The funds will be used to purchase needed equipment and supplies for classes such as Art, Photography, Industrial Technology, and Industrial Arts.
Middletown Area School District wishes to thank the Rothrock Foundation for providing this annual event which raises money for our students in memory of a great man who impacted so many.
